I came across this Shingleback in the granite country of Mount Koorong.
A day later, in Mallee country, a Shingleback Lizard I was photographing from quite close up put on a defensive display with open mouth and big blue tongue.
This one, on the other hand, just marched straight past me within centimetres of the camera lens.
